Confession time. I’ve been working on a book on Innovation Storytelling since 2019. And then in 2020, my world stopped:
- I moved
- Got locked down in Covid
- My husband asked me for a divorce
- I moved again and found a great apt. overlooking the Hudson River.
Those next few years were bumpy but brilliant, and yet somehow I couldn’t get back into writing a book that was just a few chapters away from completion.
It wasn’t all sadness and cigarettes [yes, I thought single meant a return to my 25 year old smoking self. I actually bought a pack of Parliaments!] While all that was brewing, I also:
- Started Innovation Storytellers and began keynoting and workshopping, virtually and all over the world
- Launched The Innovation Storytellers Show – now up to 240 episodes!
- And lord save me; I even set up a dating profile. And shut it down. Too many stories there.
But now I need your help. Not with dating, but with this book. I want to look at it with fresh eyes, so I thought I’d ask my favorite people – YOU!
If you were to pick up a book on improving your communication, what would you want to learn from me?
- Storytelling frameworks that work every time?
- The science behind WHY storytelling works?
- How to tell your personal story to improve your career?
- How to develop kickass presentations to the resources, runway and recognition you deserve
- …or maybe something totally different.
I’m wide open to your magnificent minds so I can write a book that’s worthy of this 17,000-person strong community of amazing innovators. Tell me all the ways I can write a book that will make you the best storytellers ever!
